Nicki Minaj Sings 'Super Bass' with Sophia Grace (Full Version)

We were all surprised when we saw Sophia Grace and Rosie's amazing performance of Super Bass on YouTube, but today the surprise was on them! These two girls had no idea they'd get the chance to meet their idol, Nicki Minaj and even perform a duet!

See what happened when Nicki Minaj surprised eight-year old internet sensation Sophia Grace, whose YouTube clip singing Minaj's hit song Super Bass went viral

8-year-old Sophia Grace Brownlee has become an internet sensation with her rendition of Nicki Minaj's chart-topping hit 'Super Bass' and yesterday little Sophia Grace Brownlee, 8, and her cousin Rosie Grace McClelland, 5, from Essex, England, got the surprise of their lives during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

The talk show host introduced the pair, who were both dressed in their now famous pink ballerina outfits and tiaras, to their idol after they performed a lively rendition of her hit song।She immediately jumped into the singer's arms and threw her arms around her।Rosie, who dances and offers support while her old cousin sings, also gave her a hug.

Apple - iOS 5 - 200+ new features for iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch.

Apple's major overhaul of its iOS operating system arrives today, but amidst the excitement comes a major concern: Will iOS 5 function properly on older model iPhones? Or will there be an added circle of bricked-iPhone hell comparable to what happened in 2010 when the iPhone 3G took on iOS 4?

Fortunately for those who haven't pre-ordered the iPhone 4S or sold their old iPhones, iOS 5 isn't a destroyer--at least it didn't cripple my iPhone 4, which has been running the Gold Master Beta of iOS 5 since last week. So rest easy; you have a lot to look forward to with iOS 5. First we'll recap the bad news, though.

What You Don't Get

A few great features of iOS 5 require Apple's new dual-core A5 processor, which is only packed into the iPhone 4S and the iPad 2, such as:

Siri: If you're smitten with Apple's futuristic voice-operated personal assistant, you'll need the iPhone 4S: Siri requires that model's dual-core A5 processor. But Siri may not be your thing, and if it is, there are several Siri alternatives that work great on older-model iPhones.

AirPlay Mirroring:AirPlay Mirroring allows users to project what's on their iPhone 4S or iPad 2 onto the big screen, either through an AirPlay-connected HDTV or an Apple TV 2. If you want the convenience of AirPlay but don't want to upgrade, the Lifehacker site has great alternatives and a guide to making everything in your home AirPlay compatible.

What iOS 5 Does Bring to Older iPhones

But who needs Siri and AirPlay Mirroring when there are so many other features available in iOS5? Here are some:

Apple iCloud options in iOS 5Apple iCloud options in iOS 5iCloud: Back up your calendar, email, iWork documents (sorry, Microsoft Office), phone contacts and more, and access them all on your iOS 5 device, your OS X Lion-, Windows Vista- or Windows 7-equipped desktop, or via Apple's slick Web interface.

iCloud also remembers your past App Store purchases, so deleted apps or songs can be re-downloaded easily. Each iCloud account comes with 5GB of free storage; larger lockers cost $20 for 10GB, $40 for 20GB or $100 for 50GB, and can be purchased right from your phone. Most syncing requires a Wi-Fi connection and that your iPhone be plugged into a power source, so it's not completely wireless, but close enough for most.

iTunes Match: Apple's answer to the cloud music craze streams your iTunes library to your phone, so that eventually, you may be able to ditch hefty hard drives on your iPhone and access your entire song library remotely.

Photo editing in iOS 5 on an iPhone 4Photo editing in iOS 5 on an iPhone 4Photo Editing: The new photo-editing capabilities that are built into the iPhone's standard camera are minimalist but workable. Now, when you click the Edit button in your Camera Roll, you can crop, reduce red eye, or auto-enhance an entire photo. These features aren't nearly as in depth as other photo editing apps, such as Adobe's free Photoshop Express, but are great for touching up a picture on the go.

iOS 5 camera lockscreeniOS 5 camera lockscreenQuick Camera Access and Grid Shots: You now have instant access to the default camera by double-clicking the home button on your iPhone's lock screen. You can also use the volume up button as a shutter and use a grid overlay to stage your photos.

iMessage: Your iOS 5 friends can now reduce their text message plans (if your carrier hasn't eliminated that option, like AT&T did) by using Apple's BlackBerry Messenger look-alike that functions essentially the same as SMS but doesn't work against your reserves and can include "read" receipts.

Twitter is everywhere on iOS 5, including on Maps and in the Safari options menu, and it looks gorgeous. When you're setting iOS 5 up, Apple even asks if you'd like to download the official Twitter app. Sorry, Facebook.

The Glitches

What's an iOS update without a few glitches? Well, iOS 5 may be the first major update I've seen that's almost flawless. I've only noticed slight lag in album art graphics when changing songs from the lock screen in my short tests--and that's it.

But that's when installed on an iPhone 4. I did not test it with an iPhone 3GS, so I'm eager to hear any complaints or observations from those users. Please comment.

Mass Shooting Seal beach California 9 Victims

Seal Beach police said the death toll from the salon shooting has risen to eight people. A ninth victim is in critical condition at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center.

"This could be one of our greatest tragedies," Police Sgt. Steve Bowles said.

The gunman opened fire inside the crowded salon Wednesday, littering the shop with bodies. Police said he acted alone, although investigators said they were still scrambling to piece together what triggered such violence.

Full coverage: Deadly shooting at Seal Beach beauty salon

Eyewitnesses said that he was targeting his ex-wife and that the two were involved in a custody dispute.

The alleged shooter was apprehended only a few blocks from the Salon Meritage, the Pacific Coast Highway shop that was bustling with customers and stylists when the shooting erupted.

One of the victims was apparently the owner of the salon, Randy Fannin, a relative said.

“Randy is dead,” said the owner’s niece, Tami Scarcella. “Randy is dead for sure.”

A middle-aged Anaheim woman who identified herself as Cindy said she was sitting in the chair getting her hair done by Fannin when a man walked in and started shooting.

“We thought it was maybe firecrackers,” she said. “But he just didn’t stop. Anybody he saw he was shooting.”

“It went boom, boom, boom,” she said, speaking outside the taped-off crime scene. “I was afraid he was going to shoot everybody.”

The afternoon shooting left the normally placid beach town struggling to make sense of the carnage. A policeman spokesman said the shooting had put the city and its small police force on unfamiliar ground.

Bowles said the crime scene was horrific. “There are victims throughout the entire salon," he said.

Witnesses and survivors alike were taken to a nearby apartment complex to settle their nerves. Others milled outside the police lines at the neighborhood shopping center, recounting what had happened.

Marissa Pei said she had been at the gym earlier in the day with a friend before bumping into her again outside the shopping center. She was sobbing.

" ''My friend is dead. My friend is dead,’ ” Pei said the woman told her. “I held her.”

Pei said she also spoke to a man married to someone who was at the salon.

“’My baby. She’s half of me,’ ” Pei recalled him saying. “ 'Please, God, don’t let her be dead.’ ”

Dion Martini, a manicurist at a nearby salon, said: "This is a shock to the whole community. All of us around here have worked together at one time or another."

Martini was busy with a client herself when she heard sirens and helicopters and knew something was wrong. When she learned a shooting had unfolded in a salon much like hers, she struggled to contain her emotions.

"I've been having chills and had to hold back tears," she said. "I just can't imagine anybody being that sick to go in and do that to anybody."

Dr. James Blake, a dentist, was in his 5th street office doing bridge work on a patient, as his hygienists cleaned other patients’ teeth, when he heard what he later learned were gunshots coming from the parking lot outside.

“Then there was a pause and a few more gunshots,” said Blake in an interview with The Times. “I didn’t see the shooter.”

Alarmed, Blake said his staff immediately locked the door to the office until police arrived.

The shooting “definitely was very unexpected” for Seal Beach, said Blake, who’s had his office in the shopping center since 1992।

XBOX Update October 2011

There's an Xbox Live update hitting your Xbox 360 console today but it won't change anything - at least, nothing you can see.

But anyone with the slightest sense of curiosity has got to believe this is a preliminary update for what will be a massive overhaul to the system next month.

Microsoft has been rolling out significant upgrades to the internal Xbox 360 software consistently over the last few years, and this one is expected to be as big as any of the others.

Microsoft teased the update at the annual E3 trade show earlier this year. Among the features expected to roll out are the ability to stream live TV, have access to exclusive sports and music content, and deeper integration and menu controls with the Kinect motion and voice recognition.

Microsoft has been going all out to promote the new features, including paying for theatrical advertisements even though the update hasn't been rolled out yet.

It's been suggested that the update will happen in mid to late November, with the dates November 15 and November 25 popping up in scattered unconfirmed reports.

But today's update is nothing spectacular. Gamers will need to be logged out of Xbox Live when it goes up. "This is a general system maintenance update and there are no new features that will show up once your system has been updated," confirmed Xbox PR guy Larry Hryb in his official blog.

Tonight's GOP Dartmouth Debate - TJ Walker's Predictions

Mitt Romney had another good debate performance and none of his rivals really laid a glove on him. His experience really shows. He plays the game on an entirely different level. In fact, his biggest rival might be himself. When he rambles answers to questions, he comes off looking slick and untrustworthy.

Herman Cain proved he'll be in the top tier for at least a few more weeks. Much of the debate focused on his 9-9-9 tax plan which was only good for his profile. He took some heat from his rivals -- particularly from Ron Paul on the Federal Reserve -- but handled it well enough. He doesn't get rattled easily.

Rick Perry did almost nothing to distinguish himself. Once again, he seemed tired and incoherent. Perry needed a good performance to turn around the narrative that his campaign is flailing but didn't have one.

Of the remaining candidates, only Newt Gingrich seemed to shine. He frequently put himself into the discussion and made good points. But at the end of the day, he's more of a pundit than a presidential candidate.

One other note: Karen Tumulty did a wonderful job asking questions. She was the best prepared on the entire stage tonight.

Avengers Trailer! Movie Released on May 4, 2012 in US & 2 minute trailer has already released Video

Just in time for New York Comic Con, the first trailer for "The Avengers" has finally arrived online, offering audiences their first look at Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, and the rest of Marvel's cinematic superheroes sharing the same screen.

And while the new trailer gave us lots of explosions, some snappy dialogue, and a good look at the film's villain, Loki, there were a number of lingering questions it didn't answer. Back in August, I suggested 10 questions that we'd like to see answered in "The Avengers." With that in mind, here are five things we're still wondering after watching "The Avengers" trailer.
The long-anticipated Marvel Comics superhero epic, "The Avengers," will be released on May 4, 2012 with a star-studded cast who each has appeared in their own film or made a cameo. The film has been produced by Marvel Studios and will be distributed by Walt Disney Pictures, based upon the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name. It crosses over several successful Marvel superhero films including Iron Man (2008), The Incredible Hulk (2008), Iron Man 2 (2010), Thor (2011) and Captain America: The First Avenger (2011). Joss Whedon directed and wrote the film.

Development of "The Avengers" began when Marvel Studios received a grant from Merrill Lynch in April 2005. Production began in April 2011 in Albuquerque New Mexico, before moving to Cleveland, Ohio, in August and New York City in September.

The movie is scheduled to be released on May 4, 2012 in the United States and a two-minute trailer has already been released. Watch the trailer and meet the cast below:

100 Arrested Protesters angry over Occupy Boston arrests Video

(NECN: Jennifer Eagan, Boston, Mass.) - Boston police moved in on the protesters at 1:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.

For hours, members of Occupy Boston were warned they would be arrested if they did not leave the second camp they set up in Boston's Financial District - about a block away from their base camp at Dewey Square. Dozens locked hands and refused to leave.

"We are veterans of the United States!" shouted some caught up in the scuffle.

A YouTube.com video posted by a writer for "The Weekly Dig" shows a clash between police and a veterans group. Members of Occupy Boston claimed officers were violent.

"There was a big cop that just pushed people all around me in the face," said one protester.

"There are some people who want to get arrested for their cause. They did not assault the officers. It was more passive resistance," said Supt. Daniel Linskey.

Boston Police broke down the tents and tarps the group had set up greenway.

"This park was not an area that was appropriate for them to be in," said Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis.

"There were some significant investments made in this park over the last year."

"We need four thousand dollars now!" One man demanded of his fellow protesters.

Protesters said they planned to bail out their fellow activists and continue on with the message against corporate greed.

Tim Tebow's Hail Mary Attempt And The Pass Interference (VIDEO)

Lost in the chaos that was the final play of the Broncos' 29-24 loss to the San Diego Chargers on Sunday was a blatant pass interference call that, well, wasn't called. While PI calls are rarely made on Hail Mary plays, a two-handed shove by a Chargers defender on Matthew Willis that forced him to go out of bounds is about as blatant as it gets.

Of course, the video below doesn't show it - it was on the replay from the end-zone angle that I saw it and tweeted about it. Many of you saw it and agreed.

Here is the play again - it stands alone was one of the craziest plays you will ever see and one that could be an indication of what we can expect the rest of this season. The Tim Tebow Era of Denver Broncos football has begun.

Wall Street protesters to RT: We can take down US fat cats

Thousands of Occupy Wall Street supporters gathered in Washington Square Park on Saturday afternoon for a General Assembly intended to spread the movement's message. After several introductory speakers, the crowd lit up when an Egyptian activist named Mohammed Ezzeldin explained what he saw was the connection between Occupy Wall Street and the protests against Hosni Mubarak.

"I am coming from there -- from the Arab Spring. From the Arab Spring to the fall of Wall Street," Ezzeldin said, his voice echoed by the crowd of thousands. "From Liberation Square to Washington Square, to the fall of Wall Street and market domination, and capitalist domination."

His passionate speech, which even included a reference to Karl Marx, made a startling comparison between what happened in Egypt earlier this year and what is now happening in the United States.

"Many things separate us," he said. "National borders. Homeland insecurities. Armies, corporations and police. They have their laws. They have their debts. And we have our revolution. We are the 99 percent."

Ezzeldin, a 28-year-old self-described "leftist activist" who is currently living in Jackson Heights and studying at the City University of New York's Graduate Center, told HuffPost he was camped out in Tahrir Square just a few months ago and is now spending days in Zuccotti Park.

"There are some differences," he said, but he believes "any success for the struggle in the United States is helpful for the rest of the world."

Ezzeldin argued that making the protests more confrontational and bringing in labor unions will be critical for the success of the movement in the United States.

"There is an illusion about freedom -- about freedom of speech and freedom of organization in this country," he observed, pointing to New York's laws against tents and megaphones. "What I thought the image exported to the rest of the world... Well, it's not completely false but there are many obstacles."

As for the NYPD's response to demonstrations so far, Ezzeldin was philosophical. "Police is the police, in Egypt, in the United States. Police is the police. There is no good cops and bad cops, they are all cops," he said.

Andy Rooney leaving '60 Minutes': CBS on This Sunday

CBS says commentator Andy Rooney will make his final weekly "60 Minutes" appearance on this Sunday's edition. Rooney will announce his departure in his regular essay at the end of the program. (Sept. 27)
With 1,096 essays for "60 Minutes" under his belt, Andy Rooney will deliver his 1,097th on Sunday's broadcast. And it will be his last as a regular contributor.

The 92-year-old Rooney will announce his departure at the end of the program, where he has been featured since 1978, CBS News announced on Tuesday. It will be preceded by a segment in which Rooney looks back on his career with "60 Minutes" correspondent Morley Safer.

"There's nobody like Andy and there never will be," said Jeff Fager, chairman of CBS News and "60 Minutes" executive producer.

He called Rooney's contributions to the program "immeasurable," and added, "It's harder for him to do it every week, but he will always have the ability to speak his mind on '60 Minutes' when the urge hits him."

Rooney began speaking his mind on "60 Minutes" in July 1978 with an essay about misleading reporting of automobile fatalities on the Independence Day weekend.

"Car for car," argued Rooney, "it's one of the safest weekends of the year to be going someplace." In fact, fewer people die of all causes on that weekend than at most other times, his research told him. And since "fewer people are watching television over the Fourth," he added, "I suppose fewer die of boredom."

He was a tender 59 years old, and, that fall, he became a regular contributor, delivering sometimes folksy, sometimes peppery observations on ordinary life under the title, "A Few Minutes With Andy Rooney."

Nancy Grace Suffered her slip nipple Wardrobe Malfunction @ Twitter [VIDEO]

Nancy Grace suffered a major wardrobe malfunction in week two of ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" when, after an energetic performance with partner Tristan MacManus, her breast spilled out of her dress. Grace hid her face as host Tom Bergeron joked, "On the European version that would be perfectly fine." (ABC)
Nancy Grace showed Nicki Minaj level nip during last night’s appearance on DWTS. Her chest was so precariously stuffed into her dress that after her dip at the end of the dance the right one popped out. For about a second you could see half of her saucer sized areola (at :30 into the clip above). The camera panned to the audience to cover up for it, and then Nancy recovered and adjusted herself. Host Tom Bergeron laughed and said “That’s all right, on the European version that would be perfectly fine.” Only this isn’t the European version and won’t someone please think of the children? They’re already traumatized and confused by a transgender dude dancing who somehow has the agenda of “tearing down traditional families.” It’s not gratuitous violence we should be shielding them from, it’s boobs!

UFC 135 Results: Jon Jones vs. Rampage Jackson Fight Video Highlights

UFC 135 takes place from Denver, headlined by a UFC light heavyweight title fight between Quinton Jackson and Jon Jones. Jones won the light heavyweight title in his last fight and many feel he will dominate his weight class for years to come. However, his career is still very young and he is for the most part untested despite having elite athleticism and size for his division. Jackson is a tough veteran of the sport and former UFC light heavyweight champion in his own right. Jackson and Jones have engaged in a war of words leading into the bout, with Jackson accusing Jones of spying on his training camp.

In preliminary action earlier in the evening, James Te Huna knocked out Ricardo Romero with punches in the first round. Romero reacted very poorly to getting hit and was rendered unconscious by punches as he shot in for a takedown. Takeya Mizugaki defeated Cole Escovedo via second round TKO. The fight was competitive until Mizugaki took over with strikes in the second round and the referee called off the bout. Junior Assuncao beat Eddie Yagin via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-26, 30-26). The fight was dull and the crowd reacted negatively to it. Assuncao dominated the standup and ground game.

In the first Spike TV bout, Tim Boetsch defeated Nick Ring via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 30-27). Ring had some success in the standup early but Boetsch took over as the fight progressed. Boetsch generally got the better of the striking over time and mixed in takedowns including a beautiful judo throw to take the decision. In the other Spike TV bout, Tony Ferguson defeated Aaron Riley via TKO after the first round. Ferguson broke Riley's jaw with an uppercut and the fight was stopped between rounds.

Nate Diaz vs. Takanori Gomi

This opens the pay-per-view portion of the card. Gomi had a classic bout in Pride with Nate's brother Nick. Nick won and Gomi is gunning for revenge of sorts in this contest. Diaz has solid standup and an excellent submission game, while Gomi is primarily a power puncher.

Round 1. Nate Diaz opens by peppering Gomi with his jab. Gomi tries to land some big overhand punches but Diaz is able to avoid them with ease. Diaz staggers Gomi with a straight punch but Gomi is fine. Diaz continues nailing Gomi with straight punches and Gomi just can't figure out Diaz's reach advantage. After Diaz punishes Gomi with continual jabs, Gomi shoots for a desperation takedown. Diaz immediately works for a triangle choke. Gomi moves back to avoid danger and Diaz transitions into an armbar for the submission. Diaz looked phenomenal here.

Winner: Nate Diaz, submission, round 1.

Rob Broughton vs. Travis Browne

Broughton is a British heavyweight fighter with a well rounded game. Browne is an undefeated Hawaiian with strong striking.

Round 1. The action is slow at the start. Broughton, a shorter man with less physical definition, has trouble getting at Browne with punches. Browne is able to land some punches from distance but for the most part it's a stalemate. Towards the end of the round, Browne gets a takedown and mounts Broughton. He fires down punches at the close of the round. 10-9 Browne.

Round 2. The standup is again tentative. Browne lands a few nice punches and then scores a takedown. He works over Broughton with strikes as the round progresses. Broughton isn't able to mount any offense from the bottom or threaten with any submissions. 10-9 Browne.

Round 3. Browne again goes for a takedown. He throws some punches from the top, and works into better position. He briefly has Broughton mounted but Broughton works Browne back into his guard. Broughton looks for a kimura from the bottom and pulls it out, but Browne transitions into side control to avoid the submission. Browne throws a few additional punches as the round comes to a close. 10-9 Browne. Browne took the fight clearly but was unimpressive in the process and likely lowered his stock with many.

Winner: Travis Browne, unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).

Ben Rothwell vs. Mark Hunt

Mark Hunt is a former K1 kickboxing star with elite striking but a losing career MMA record (against consistently high level competition). Hunt's ground game has always been his weakness but he has worked to improve that aspect of his game over time. Ben Rothwell was the most dominant heavyweight in the now defunct IFL and has fought some of the best fighters in the division. He is returning following an extended absence from the sport due to a torn ACL.

Round 1. Rothwell shoots for a takedown at the opening but Hunt defends it easily. Hunt throws a pair of hooks and backs up as Rothwell pushes forward. Rothwell looks for a takedown from distance again but can't get it. Rothwell shoots for a third time and this time he gets the takedown. Rothwell mounts Hunt quickly but Hunt gets out of that position and tries to stand up. Hunt works his way up back to his feet. Rothwell tries two additional takedowns. The first is easily blocked but Rothwell grabs a leg and comes close on the second. Hunt then lunges forward with big punches. Rothwell goes for a takedown but Hunt brushes him off and takes top position and side control. Rothwell gets back up. Rothwell is bleeding badly from the face. Rothwell gets a takedown with 30 seconds left in the round. 10-9 Hunt.

Round 2. Hunt throws a few leg kicks and blocks a Rothwell takedown attempt. Hunt takes Rothwell down and throws some solid punches from the top. He mixes in some elbows as well and works his way into side control. Hunt keeps pounding on Rothwell until Rothwell finally tries to stand back up. Hunt stops that and takes full mount. Hunt grabs Rothwell's arm and looks for an armbar as the round comes to a close. Rothwell is just barely able to survive the round and defend against the armbar. 10-8 Hunt. Rothwell had trouble getting back to his corner at the end of the round.

Round 3. Hunt opens up with big punches on an exhausted Rothwell. Rothwell can barely stand and Hunt throws a spinning elbow. Hunt takes Rothwell down, a curious decision given how exhausted Rothwell is. The referee stands them back up when there is no activity on the ground. Rothwell looks for a takedown but it is easily defended. Hunt lands a nice uppercut. Rothwell takes Hunt down briefly but Hunt works his way up and grabs Rothwell's back. They stand back up and Hunt lands a huge punch to the jaw of Rothwell. Hunt walks away like it was a knockout blow but Rothwell doesn't go down. Hunt then takes Rothwell back down. Rothwell is completely spent. Hunt is in side control but the referee stands them up. Commentator Joe Rogan heavily criticizes that decision by the referee given the dominant position. Rothwell puts his hands on his knees but Hunt tries to take him down. Rothwell blocks the takedown and gets top position to close the round. 10-9 Hunt, 30-26 Hunt. That was not an impressive showing from either man. The altitude in Denver clearly played a big role for the conditioning of two very big fighters.

Winner: Mark Hunt, unanimous decision (29-28, 29-27, 30-27).

Matt Hughes vs. Josh Koscheck

Hughes is one of the UFC's all time best fighters, but is on the tail end of his career. His strength is his wrestling and he also has a solid submission game, but he has always been a subpar striker. He was originally supposed to fight Diego Sanchez but Sanchez was injured and Koscheck stepped in. Koscheck has wanted to fight Hughes for years but Hughes always resisted the fight because he didn't like Koscheck and didn't want to give him the opportunity. Now on short notice he took the fight. Koscheck is a younger man with better wrestling credentials and better striking. It's a tough stylistic matchup for Hughes and Koscheck is the heavy betting favorite.

Hughes comes to the cage with the old Miletich Fighting Systems crew: Pat Miletich, Robbie Lawler and Jeremy Horn. That was one of the first elite training camps in MMA and one of the most important training camps in the evolution of the sport. Hughes has trained more with Lawler in recent years and the group coming out together is clearly meant as a statement.

Round 1. Hughes throws a few jabs to start the fight. Koscheck is mostly able to avoid them but Hughes does land one pretty well. Koscheck lunges in with hooks that move Hughes back. Hughes lands a nice left hook of his own and follows with another. Hughes throws a few jabs and a nice uppercut. Koscheck throws a few big power punches but doesn't connect. Koscheck then does land a big uppercut. Koscheck shoots for a takedown but Hughes defends it. Hughes continues throwing jabs while Koscheck is inactive. Koscheck rocks Hughes with a big book and uppercut. Koscheck then opens up with big power punches and continues with big punches and hammerfists on the ground that knock out Hughes at the close of the round. Hughes looked great early but Koscheck took over with his power.

Winner: Josh Koscheck, KO, round 1.

Hughes after the fight said he's not retiring but he's going to tell UFC to "put him on the shelf" for the time being. Hughes seemed on the version of tearing up but kept his emotions in check.

UFC Light Heavyweight Title: Jon Jones vs. Quinton "Rampage" Jackson

Jones comes from a wrestling background but has picked up striking very quickly. One of his greatest strengths is his natural size and reach, which keeps opponents off balance and allows him to attack from unique angles and in unique ways. Jackson was originally more of a wrestling based fighter but over time he has fallen in love with boxing and he utilizes primarily boxing to win these days. Jackson is also noted for having an excellent chin. Jones has a colossal 11 and a half inch reach advantage.

Round 1. Jackson stares right at Jones during instructions, while Jones just looks down. Jones comes out with one hand on the ground and then he lunges forward into a clinch. Jones throws some knees to the legs and body. Jones grabs Jackson's neck and looks for a guillotine choke but Jackson gets out. Jones throws a big elbow from close distance. Jones throws some foot stomps and looks for a trip takedown unsuccessfully. They break from the clinch two minutes in. Jones throws a high kick that Jackson defends. Jones clinches and then throws Jackson off. Jackson throws a couple looping punches that miss by a wide margin. Jones throws some heavy leg kicks and mixes in head kick attempts as well. Jones clinches again. Jackson throws a few uppercuts from close distance and Jones lands a spinning back elbow. Jones misses a wheel kick and big elbow. Jackson lunges in with big overhand punches at the close of the round but Jones nonchalantly moves out of the way. 10-9 Jones.

Round 2. Jones opens with a head kick and leg kick. Jackson charges forward with punches and they clinch again. Jones misses a spinning elbow and looks for a takedown that is defended. Jones throws a pair of side kicks to the leg. Jones lands a nice straight punch to the head. Jackson lands a hook from close enough range but doesn't follow through. They clinch again with Jones throwing knees before a separation. Jones throws a few leg kicks and baks away when Jackson moves in with punches. Jones is doing so many things and Jackson just throws the same punch combinations over and over again. That doesn't mean Jackson can't connect with a power punch but it's like one guy is playing chess and the other is playing checkers. Jones lands a few nice straight right punches and they clinch again. Jones pulls guard and looks for a triangle choke as the round comes to a close. 10-9 Jones.

Round 3. Jackson throws a leg kick at the start of the round and Jones grabs his neck. Jackson gets out of trouble. Jackson lands a couple more leg kicks. Jones keeps switching his stance from orthodox to southpaw. Jones shoots and takes Jackson down. Jones quickly takes side control and throws a couple elbows. Jones then mounts Jackson. Jones drops down punches and elbows with three minutes still left in the round. Jackson powers out back to his feet. Jackson is cut. Jones throws a few leg kicks. Jackson lunges with a couple power punches that miss. Jones lands a couple straight punches and a side kick to the knee. Jackson charges forward with big overhands and Jones just calmly moves out of the way. Jones throws a flying knee but Jackson blocks it. Jones lands a big straight punch that moves Jackson back. Jones goes for a takedown at the end of the round. The end of the round signals and Jones lifts Jackson up and then drops him back down. 10-9 Jones.

Round 4. Jones lands a few jabs and a hook. Jackson backs up as if he's hurt and Jones throws a big kick to the head that misses. I think Jackson was playing possum there. Jones takes Jackson down and throws a knee to the body. Jones takes Jackson's back and locks in a rear naked choke. Jackson taps out.

Jackson walks over and shakes Jones' hand after the fight to pay his respects.

Winner: Jon Jones, submission, round 4.

Video: School shooting in Issaquah Washington School

This is the my video of the shooting that happened in Issaquah WA on 09/24/2011.

There were two gunmen. I talked to an officer on the scene and he said it was only one. I do believe it was 2 though, one got shot about 25 minutes into the firefight and the suspected second shooter is in custody. No bystanders or policemen were injured.
Video taken by Leif Steffny of Sammamish and posted to YouTube. Steffney said he shot the video from the Issaquah Sportmen's Club, where he works, which is located behind Issaquah High School. "Our day was going as usual with a bit of target shooting and a hunter's safety class when suddenly we got a call from the police, asking us to cease all fire," Steffney said in a message to seattlepi.com. "We immediately did and kept the police updated on what we saw from our point of view."
A man armed with two guns repeatedly opened fire near a high school where students were attending games Saturday, sending children and their parents running for cover under the bleachers before police arrived and killed him, authorities said.

Witnesses said the 51-year-old man stopped his car in the middle of a street shortly before midday and began shooting, then walked toward the nearby Clark Elementary School, occasionally stopping to fire some more.

Officers cornered him and had no choice but to shoot because he refused to drop his weapons, King County Sheriff's Office spokesman John Urquhart said. No one else was hurt.

Police ran onto the football field at nearby Issaquah High School and hustled about 120 students and fans to a safer position beneath the bleachers, witnesses said.

"A SWAT team showed up on site, fully loaded, fully geared up, just racing onto the field," said John Rudolph, a coach at the junior varsity football game.

Witnesses said they heard about 20 shots fired, but police have not confirmed that number. A shooting range is located nearby, and witnesses may have heard gunfire from that direction.

Lindsay Schumacher was walking nearby with her baby and started running when she heard the shots. A woman in a sport-utility vehicle saw her and yelled, "Get in the car!" and took her away from the gunman, she said.

"It was so close," said Dawn Hill, who was also nearby. "It was like you didn't really think it could be gunfire right behind you."

Tonya Collins said she saw the man pointing his weapon at a woman and her son as she was sitting in her car in a parking lot near the high school.

"It was surreal," she said. "He had a very weird look, obviously. ... I had the sense he could shoot me."

Urquhart said the shooting will be investigated by the King County Sheriff's Office at the request of Issaquah police.

La Liga: FC Barcelona 5-0 Atletico Madrid: Match Review

In the big Spanish La Liga Match we will have FC Bacelona hosting Atletico Madrid in what will be a very anticipated game of the week. Barcelona are coming into this match on the back of playing two back to back 2-2 draws in the league. Which has happened after quite a while we have to admit. ALthough Barcelona are scoring goals their defence does not look as solid as it used to in recent years.
Atletico Madrid on the other hand are playing some good football as well and their expensive signing of Falcao is paying back nicely as he already grabbed 5 goals to his name and looks like in top form at the moment. He is someone Barcelona defence will have to keep an tight eye on.Bouncing back from Wednesday's draw with Valencia, FC Barcelona put on a master-class to defeat Atletico Madrid 5-0, with Lionel Messi bagging a hat-trick. Despite the lack of defenders and Real Madrid's earlier win, Barcelona were unplayable, and in truth, could have had much more. As it stands, FC Barcelona move on up to second place.

If you live by the sword, you die by the sword. That was applicable to Barcelona on Wednesday in the match at the Mestalla, but tonight the world witnessed yet another master-class. Starting out with a 3-4-3 formation, one could be forgiven for feeling a little anxious, especially when both Carles Puyol and Gerard Pique were on the bench.

Though it’s almost as if the team knew that us Culés were feeling on edge, and started ferociously. Sergio Busquets glanced a header wide from a corner kick, and while Tiago hit the bar for Atletico, the Blaugrana remained calm, and kept on going about their business. Unfortunately for Los Rojiblancos, Barca’s business was to destroy them.

Vladimir Putin Russia Presidential Run: Prime Minister Announces Bid For 2012 Election

Vladimir Putin said Saturday he'll run for Russia's presidency next year, almost certainly ensuring he'll retake the office and foreshadowing years more of a strongman rule that many in the West have criticized as a retreat from democracy. The announcement sets up the possibility that Putin could reign over Russia until 2024.

In nominating Putin on Saturday, his United Russia party also approved his proposal that President Dmitry Medvedev take over Putin's current role as prime minister. Putin took over the premiership after serving as president from 2000-2008, bowing to term limits. But he was always the more powerful figure, with Medvedev viewed as a caretaker president.
Putin's return to the presidency also is unlikely to ease Russia's dispute with the United States over the building of a European missile-defense system. Economic pressures, however, could push Putin to pursue more business-friendly policies, analysts said.
