Time is a commodity you can’t make back, and with less than two weeks before the release of J. Cole’s debut, Cole World: The Sideline Story, the North Carolina rapper’s dropping tracks like there “ain’t no tomorrow” as his highly anticipated Jay-Z collaboration, “Mr. Nice Watch”, hit the internet today.
On the track, the Roc Nation protégé steps up first on the electro beat, rapping that he’s “cut from a different sleeve” and for the time being, it’s “No more Mr. Nice Guy, hello Mr. Nice Watch.” But it’s mentor and Roc Nation label-head, Jay-Z, who stands out with his hard-hitting, forewarning verse. Jay declares it’s only a matter time before he hits back with a nice shot, but in the meantime, his time is not to be wasted, and right now… it’s Cole’s time to shine.
